How to Turn Yourself Into a Video Game Character with Adobe Firefly
Ever wanted to see yourself as a video game character? Adobe Firefly makes it incredibly easy. Here's the step-by-step process.

What You Need
- A clear selfie or portrait photo
- Adobe Firefly (free tier works)
- A reference image of your desired art style
- 10 minutes

Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Choose Your Reference Style
Find a screenshot of a video game character style you like . Genshin Impact, Cyberpunk 2077, Stardew Valley, or any other. This helps Firefly understand the visual language you want.
Step 2: Upload to Firefly
Go to Adobe Firefly and use the Generative Fill or Structure Reference feature. Upload your selfie as the base image.
Step 3: Write the Prompt
Be specific: 'Transform this person into a [game style] character. [Describe clothing, accessories, art style]. Stylized 3D render, game character portrait, vibrant colors.'
Step 4: Use Structure Reference
Upload your reference game character image alongside your selfie. Firefly will use the structure of your face while applying the art style.
Step 5: Iterate
Generate multiple variations. Adjust the prompt based on what's working. Add details like 'detailed armor', 'glowing eyes', or 'fantasy lighting' to refine.

Tips for Better Results
- Use front-facing photos with good lighting
- Keep the prompt under 50 words
- Try multiple art styles, anime, realistic, pixel art, 3D
- Use 'stylized' in your prompt for game-like results
